Reforestation in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso, 2009-2014

Our fight against desertification due to climate change started in 2009 in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso. Depleted soils forces people to move south (Burkina Faso) or to immigrate north (Europe) to find a place that provides security for themselves and their families.

Creating fertile soils is a base for peace and prosperity in their own country. Fertile soils create a new economy with benefits for all stakeholders.
