On the map
These maps show what OZG has been doing about reforestation since 2009. These were partly financed by donations from private individuals and companies and partly by orders from customers who finance forest. In risk regions (land degradation and land flight), the objective is to create positive impacts by investing primarily in sociological and ecological capital (Land Degradation Neutrality (UN LDN programme)).

Senegal
With the expertise we have developed in Burkina Faso, we want to pioneer again in other countries, where desertification due to climate disruption is also manifesting itself. Since January 2018, preparations have started in Senegal, and in 2019 the first hectares will be planted on the two designated sites. The bond that you can see drawing through the country indicates what the plan for the Great Green Wall is, a project of the African Union, supported by the UNCCD.
Burkina Faso
Burkina Faso is the first country where OZG has been active, and this from September 2009 to April 2018. During this period, we created 10,000 hectares of new forest, developed and improved the concept of Trees that Count (See also: "A Better World", a book published in September 2018 by Tudor Rose on behalf of UNCCD).
